In 2023, under the leadership of President Dr. Christina Meiners, the HDA launched its ambitious national program called “HDA Community Leadership Fellowship (CLF).”
This program was designed between 2021 and 2022 to develop the most promising minority dentists working in leadership and community approaches, and to become better leaders for the benefit of underserved communities.
As the head initiative, this program is part of the professional development commitment of the HDA to train future generations of minority dentists for our nation. Fellows who have graduated from this program develop a graduation project within any of the HDA National committees to improve, fix, or propose a solution on a topic where the organization could improve services or approaches in its communities.
The current CLF program directors are Dr. Jorge Delgado and Dr. Martha Mutis.
